Anonymous asked: If you could have a do-over would you go to the same college?

Definitely. I love it here. This place is great, the culture, the people, the tradition, pretty much everything. Even in the few months I’ve been here, I’m already seeing how much going here is opening my life and adding so many possibilities to it. I’m meeting incredible people, getting opportunities to do great things, and learning so many new ideas. Going here instead of my hometown university is allowing me to figure out who I really am. As corny as it sounds it’s true. No one here, save for one or two people whom I don’t see often, has any pre-determined mindsets of how I should act. If I want to try something different, now is the time, no one is gonna recoil and say “But you don’t do that.”, because no here knows what I “do”. This isn’t to imply I felt I needed a massive overhaul, but I’ve definitely changed in various ways since I got here, and I hope it’s been for the better. Sure it’s has been and will be tough at points, but it’s worth it. Overall, I’ve been having a great experience here.

One of the reasons I was so distressed last week concerning my performance was that I feared I wouldn’t be able to go here if I lost scholarships that required a certain GPA. This has since been corrected by my parents, which is comforting. I’d still really like to keep honors, but it’s not necessary to stay here. I can at least be pretty sure I’ll still be able to graduate from Texas A&M University, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Does that answer your question? :P
